Launch day

This is it... It's been forever since I've wanted to start my own (online) petstore.

How did it all start? Well, it goes way back to when I got my very first own pet as a teen. A hamster named ''Bibble'' and because I wanted to do everything right, I decided to join a dutch facebook group all about hamsters. Very soon I figured out that sadly, the petstore I got my hamster from, had given me the wrong information and the items I had bought for my little friend weren't actually suitable for him... I felt horrible but with the help of all the nice people from the group, and after doing lots of research, I got Bibble a better enclosure and items! Since then, I've always been doing tons of research over the years and am still learning about animal-welfare on the daily!

Later on, because petstores to this day (often) still give out the wrong information and sell items that aren't actually suitable for our beloved pets, I had decided I wanted to work at a petstore so I could help inform people and advice them about the right care for their pets. But that didn't go as planned...

I remember a customer coming up to me, asking me for advice, and after I had given them lots of advice I later met them at the cash register again buying items that aren't suitable for their pet and completely going against my advice... Sadly, since most petstores do still keep on selling items that aren't suitable, because it's usually all about making money, we can't really do much about it as workers when the customers goes against our advice...

That is why, one day, I wanted to start my own petstore, and here we finally are!
